"If you are having your car checked out after an accident, it's a good idea to have your body checked out too."

As A Matter Of Fact...

After a recent car crash, I was more worried about my wife’s new car than my health… Auto accidents can and often cause health effects that we don’t realize in the first days, weeks and sometimes months after the crash. Many times we start with minor aches and pains and after all the paper work and stuff is taken care of, we find ourselves with ongoing painful problems.

I have seen this situation occur with patients for over 20 years. Now, I have experienced it myself. Suddenly I have much more empathy and sympathy for my patients. After an Auto accident, people deal with inconveniences first: How quickly can I get my car fixed? How much will it cost? Will my insurance pay for it? What about deductibles? Can I get a rental car and who pays for it? Will my insurance cost more now?

Later... people begin to think about their health. You Never Know When The Pain Will Begin. Sometimes we start with simply feeling irritable, tired or just stiff and sore. These early problems can subside only to have them and other symptoms return even worse.

Symptoms that may be more serious and need attention are:

  • Headache
  • Trouble Concentrating
  • Neck Pain
  • Back Pain
  • Tingling/Numbness, Pain down arms or legs
  • Fatigue
  • Memory Difficulty
  • Jaw pain
  • Muscle Spasms
  • Trouble Sleeping

The symptoms listed are just a few, there may be many other symptoms related to the accident. Call us today to get started on your road to recovery!

Dr. Campbell Asks some important questions of interest to Lynnwood residents - Chiropractor Lynnwood Dr. Campbell Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
How long will you need chiropractic care?
You'll need chiropractic care as long as you live in Lynnwood and encounter physical, chemical or emotional stress that you cannot adapt to or accommodate. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
